Coming VERY Soon: Detailed Post on how to Create Your Own Life Binder!

At the heart of the OWL project is something I have YET to go into detail about here on the blog. And that is...THE LIFE BINDER.

I created my own life binder to address my own need for something to keep track of how I'm implementing everything I'm learning in business, blogging, and personal development.

You can't improve what you aren't measuring or tracking.

The life binder helps me measure my progress.
It holds the "map" of my life and this gives me the ability to open my "map" and be able to say, "I am here. This is where I'm at and this is where I'm going."

You can't get to where you're going if you don't know where you're starting from and you don't know how to track your journey's milestones.

So, I'm really excited to put this post together for you later this week. I've helped a few people set up their life binders and I'm looking forward to helping even more people through the virtual world of blogging.  So stay tuned!

Record Your Expenses Printable

Hello!  Well here I am with a printable for keeping track of your expenses.  My goal is to create all the forms needed to be on top of Dave Ramsey's system of keeping a budget.  If you haven't heard of him, check out his stuff HERE.  He's helped thousands of people get out of debt and take control of their money.
This is something that we just have to do, folks.  You can't say you're taking 100% responsibility of your life if you're not working toward financial peace.

Printable: A Set Time for Everything

This printable is for keeping a set record of activities that always need to be done on certain days at certain times.

Your thought process would be like this:

I always wash my car on Sunday afternoons.

I always clean out my Gmail account on Saturday evenings.

I always create YouTube videos on Wednesday mornings.

This way, when you wake up in the morning, you know exactly what to do that day and that every activity has a day and time in your schedule to get accomplished - so you don't worry about when or how you're "going to get to everything."

A fun system for logging ideas, techniques, and notes

Whenever I feel like something isn't working, I know I need to figure out a system to put in place.  So, I've just done this with note taking, because I'm not a fan of taking notes for self-improvement in different areas of my life and then forgetting all about my notes because they're all mixed up in random notebooks!

I mostly use this system when I am watching informative YouTube videos, mind sweeping/brain dumping, or just web-surfing and coming across information that gives me ideas for my own projects.

So, after I purchased some index cards and an index card box, I made tabs for the different areas of my life.

So far I have:

Network Marketing
- for my business -

Simply Clean
- for my cleaning company -

Goals
- my goals, plus advice on goal setting -

Practice
- for ideas that I want to put into practice immediately -

Gratitude
- a log of my "wins" each day -

I'm thinking that my next tabs will include Health for recipes, and Secret OWL Society (of course) for blog ideas, Photoshop for techniques...
Yup, I think this system is going to stick. :)
